Teachers use music as a means to explore multicultural traditions, world history, and languages from around the globe. Students in grades 2 - 8 participate in at least one on site concert per year. Middle school students are given the opportunity to specialize in music through percussion concert, symphonic band, honor choir and concert choir. Students in grades 7 and 8 also have the opportunity to participate in festivals. Band | Choir Athletics KECSD believes athletics are an extension of the academic program. Students benefit by learning sportsmanship, ethics, integrity, teamwork, competition, and how to win and lose gracefully. At Reagan we pride ourselves in developing well-rounded and thoughtful students where we are able to create strong and positive connections with students so they can achieve independence, build confidence, and gain academic knowledge. We strive to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens ready to meet the challenges of the future. In partnership with families and community, our goal is to create relevant learning opportunities for students, both inside and outside the classroom, that help them develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and character necessary to succeed in the outside world. The configuration of our district allows our students to grow up with each other. Due to this, our school and classrooms have a family aspect where students take care of each other and genuinely care about the well being of their peers. The make up of the schools also allows for a collaborative teaching team where teachers can be found on their breaks, before school, and after school working together to better the students education. Reagan is a great place to be and we look forward to serving the community of Kingsburg for years to come. Lincoln Elementary Lincoln School is one of six schools within the Kingsburg Elementary Charter School District. The school serves all of the 2nd and 3rd grade students (approximately 425 students) in the community. This unique grade level alignment solves many problems experienced by other districts and provides countless opportunities for grade level cooperation. Lincoln School has been exemplary in meeting the needs of students in an increasingly successful manner, despite expanding challenges and pressures in a changing region and society.
